Galata Tower - stands on the hillside , located in the European part of Istanbul's Galata tower over the waters of the Golden Horn. It can be seen from almost all points of the city center. Construction, which has come to our time , built in 1348-1349 years by the Genoese in the process of building a wall around the colony of Galata , in the highest point of it above sea level. The observation deck at the top of the Galata Tower is the ideal base for exploring the ponoramy of historic city, the coast of Golden Horn, the Bosphorus and the Asian coast of the Sea of Marmara with distant Prince Islands .

 

Beyoglu district - an area located in the European part of Istanbul, on the north bank of the "Golden Horn ". Beyoglu makes an indelible impression on your guests with beautiful architecture ( for which Europe has had a strong influence) , their cultural and night life. Here you will find plenty of attractions and entertainment. You can stroll through the beautiful pedestrian avenues and narrow streets , go to fancy restaurants , cafes , bars , bistros and music clubs . It is believed that the Beyoglu district is the heart of the city's nightlife .

 

The pedestrian Istiklal Street - the heart of Beyoglu Independence Avenue ( Istiklal ), which in its outward appearance is very much like Moscow's Arbat . The main difference between this street and its Moscow counterpart - is a tram that runs from end to end , rolling the tourists. Walking along Istiklal you can find youself in Istanbul late 19th - early 20th century , see the city in all its diversity, mix of East and West.

 

The Church of St. Antoine - is the largest Catholic church in Istanbul. The church is a shining example of neo-Gothic architecture. The church was rebuilt and opened to the congregation in 1912, the author of church is the Italian-born architect Giulio Mondzheri. The church walls are covered up to a certain level of mosaic tiles and the exterior facade of the building was built with red bricks. St. Anthony's Church, which has the most extensive Catholic parish, at the same time is an example of religious tolerance in Istanbul.
